What a strange year 2020 has turned out to be.
For me, Covid-19 was a big distraction, and my work rate suffered. And yet, apart from travel, our lives in Queensland have been relatively unaffected except for a short period of lockdown.
I feel so sorry for people in countries overseas where coronavirus is rampant. I don’t think any of us realised how much we took normal life for granted. That is, until we no longer could go about our normal lives.
For those who have lost loved ones, I feel immensely sorry.
And then I was distracted by the US presidential election. I am still perplexed as to how 70+ million Americans can consider Trump a suitable candidate for their highest office. I look forward to Inauguration Day in Jan 2021 when the world is free of Trump as president.
And, yes, I am writing another Belleville book …. watch this space!
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy a happy Christmas (if you celebrate it) and let’s hope 2021 is a vast improvement on 2020.
PS I enjoy gardening too so here is a recent photo of my petunias. So easy to grow.
